IT-BHU Alumni led Coaching Institute tops in Varanasi

L-1 Coaching Institute, founded by three IT-BHU graduates in 2006, has topped in a survey of various engineering and medical coaching institutes in Varanasi. The institute was appreciated for its personal mentoring, environment and a very high success rate. The survey was conducted by TheBrandGuru.info, a Varanasi-based marketing and branding firm. A total 250 respondents participated in the survey and were asked a set of ten questions related to IIT-JEE and PMT coaching.

When contacted, Brijesh Singh, director of L-1 institute, said in an elated tone, ‘We are very happy with the students’ response. We have the highest success rate in Varanasi. It took us four years to reach the top spot. Besides, we are the only coaching institute to practice Kaizen in India.” Kaizen, a Japanese word for continuous improvement, is very popular in corporate world.

Around 64% of the respondents felt that Varanasi should have an institute like Super-30. An overwhelming majority also felt that IIT-JEE and PMT preparations have become very expensive. A majority of the students faced problems in handling coaching and school studies simultaneously. But 51.8% of them said that they can manage it. Students also admitted that social networking sites have a harmful effect on their IIT-JEE and PMT preparations.
